The new Hotel Preko is at the location of the old hotel on the island of Ugljan

On a 3,600 square meter plot, at the same location where the previous hotel in Preko was built in 1970, construction has begun on a new, modern four-star hotel. The hotel will feature 65 designer-furnished rooms, a spacious pool, a restaurant, and all other accompanying amenities for its future guests.

Preko has long been recognized for its tourism, and the idea behind the construction of the hotel is to further leverage the natural beauty and proximity to Zadar, while attracting a new category of tourists to Preko.

The mayor of Preko, Jure Brižić, has recognized the importance of such a project for a community like Preko. The hotel will be located in the very center of the town, which, as the municipal and administrative center of the island of Ugljan, deserves a project like this.

“Hotels are the drivers and pillars of tourism and its development, and that is exactly what the entire island is lacking.” stated Brižić.

With this project, the municipality of Preko will gain a hotel that will attract new guests, extend the tourist season, and elevate the level of the tourist offer to a new level, said Jure Brižić.
